Supporting Your Athlete Starts with Feeling Supported, too.
As a parent, you’re navigating a fast-paced sports world filled with decisions, emotions, and constant change. It’s not just about the game—it’s about raising a confident, resilient human through it.
At Volleyball Village, we support the whole family system—because when parents feel grounded, athletes thrive.
You deserve tools, insight, and connection to help you guide your athlete with clarity and calm. We’re here to walk beside you.
Because your energy shapes theirs.
Raising an athlete in today’s world can feel overwhelming—so many choices, pressures, and emotional ups and downs.
At Volleyball Village, we believe parents need support just as much as their athletes do. We offer personalized guidance for navigating big moments—whether it’s recruitment conversations, position changes, or just needing a safe space to reflect and reset.
With decades of experience, we’re here to listen, offer perspective, and help you chart a path forward that’s grounded, realistic, and aligned with your child’s growth.

Whether you’re new to the journey or a seasoned parent, tryouts can be stressful—for both you and your athlete.
We offer calm, experience-based guidance so you can be a steady partner in your child’s success.
Tryouts are more than a selection—they’re a rite of passage.
How you show up helps shape who they become.
Because challenges are what make it a game.
If you are part of the game, you experience challenges - as a player or parent.
We are here to help you navigate challenges and cultivate a healthy family process that allows everyone to rise up. And for you to show up for your child with clarity and calm.
These sessions may involve 2 parents who see differently, a parent/s and player who want to get on the same page, and other combinations.
Pulse Workshops are designed to help parents understand the deeper layers of youth sports—what they are, what they’re not, and what they can become for your family.
You’ll learn simple and powerful co-regulation tools that support you in becoming a steady, grounded presence—your child’s calm anchor in the intensity of competition and growth.

Testimonial: "As a long time teacher, 1s level club and varsity high school coach, I love how Dana connects with coaches and athletes and really teaches and explains the skills and game strategy. She is exceptional at problem solving game situations and is uniquely gifted at developing the whole player.
Dana has an enormous skill set and I've watched her work with all kinds of players, parents and coaches through tough situations. She always knows how to find the win in storm." Ann R.
Parent Testimonial: "What a true gift Dana is to the volleyball community. We had been searching for a mentor and coach for our twins for a while and were so fortunate that Dana came to Colorado. In the few months she has been working with our twins, we have noticed such a positive improvement, not only in their technical skills but also in the mental aspect of their game too. She has such a way of communicating and connecting with both of them and is a great listener too! We have found her lessons and approach to coaching truly invaluable for our family." Russell E.
Parent Testimonial: "You have been so instrumental in every aspect of our daughter's development. You have also supported us as we've navigated tryouts, college recruiting, and communicating with our daughter through difficult teenage years and so much change. We are so grateful. Nicole K.
Parent Testimonial: "I wanted to give you a huge thank you. You are a gift that walked into the sports center and touched a lot of girls' lives. I know it is incredibly challenging from a number of angles, and you seem to handle them all well and we all benefit." BobH
